Quality Assurance Procedures

Manicured Lawns is Quality Assured and have policies and procedures in place that have been adopted in our work practices in our daily business. Such policies include: Quality, Equal Opportunity, Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Drug and Alcohol, just to name a few.

Indemnity & Insurance

Manicured lawns have in place Products and Public Liability and Workers Compensation Insurances to the value of $10,000,000 each. Certificate of Currencies can be viewed upon request

Recruitment and Staffing

Induction and Recruitment

Manicured Lawns has a Recruitment and Induction Policy where strict recruiting guidelines are adhered too. New employees are placed on a probationary period for a period of three (3) months and Workplaces Agreements are drawn up at employee commencement. All employees are policed checked and made aware of all Manicured Lawns policies.

Awards and Workplace Agreements

Manicured Lawns have in place and are members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA to ensure we are kept up to date with all materials in regards to Minimum Law Requirements and the Federal Industrial Law Guide. Most of our staff are on individual workplace agreements that have been tailor made for each position and employee. These Workplace Agreements have clauses and conditions that must be adhered to at all times. Included in these are areas such as Drug and Alcohol, Quality Policies, Occupational Health and Safety and Confidentiality, just to name a few. Breach of contract will incur instant dismissal.

Staff Training

Staff Training is a very important part of our Career Development Program. Our staff are only utilised in areas where they have suitable qualifications and experience.

Manicured Lawns Representative

Upon confirmation of this contract, Manicured Lawns will appoint an experienced Supervisor to attend to all aspects of this contract. Allocated staff will be made aware of the contract service requirements and individual job requirements. These staff will attend a site inspection to go through all relevant areas.

Manicured Lawns employee are issued with uniforms consisting of a green polo shirt with Manicured Lawns’ logo, green shorts and/or pants and Manicured Lawns’ green hat or Araphat.

Non Disclosure of Confidential Information

All employees are placed on Workplace Agreements in which a Non Disclosure of Confidential Information clause is included and signed. Failure to abide by this clause can be the grounds for instant dismissal.

Occupational Health and Safety

Our staff have been trained in the safety procedures within our Occupational Health and Safety Policy. We have attached our Health and Safety policy that is adhered to at all times. First Aid boxes are located in all vehicles and offices.

Manicured Lawns are dedicated to providing a safe working environment and have worked with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA to implement an OHS Act, Worksafe and QA recognised Safety and Health Procedures Manual. This is available for your reference at any time.
